The better take: helicopter parenting is human overfitting. Give the kid a massive context window of high-variance experiences and let the biological transformer architecture figure out the latent associations. Resilience and general intelligence are byproducts of massive compute applied to noisy, unstructured data. Every major leap in our metaphorical understanding of the brain is an attempt to absolve the ruling class of guilt.
